Our fresh and aromatic homemade basil pesto really sets this dish apart! The succulent chicken is basted in the pesto coupled with aubergine and courgette and tangy sundried tomatoes on a bed of wholemeal penne. All topped with crunchy pine nuts and a sprinkling of parmesan cheese.

The Basil Chicken Penne Pesto provides a good energy source that's low GI. The wholemeal penne releases energy slower to keep you feeling fuller for longer. Wholemeal pasta is a great source of complex carbohydrate and provides plenty of fibre, important for a healthy digestive tract.

This tasty dinner has a source of protein provided by the delicious, succulent chicken. Chicken offers an array of vitamins, nutrients and high biological protein. It has all the essential amino acids needed to build and repair muscle tissue and is a great post fuel meal.
