    Keto cottage pie

Posted by Dorothy Mc Grath on 15th May 2022

Absolutely delicious! The nicest cottage pie I ever tasted and it's keto friendly!!

A keto-friendly take on one of our most popular dinners! The Keto Cottage Pie consists of a delicious blend of 100% Irish beef and vegetables like carrots, celery and peas for added texture and micronutrients, all topped with a delicious, cheesy cauliflower mash. Packed full of essential vitamins and minerals, this is the perfect nourishing dish at the end of a long day!

Cauliflower is a cruciferous vegetable that is naturally high in fibre and B-vitamins. It provides antioxidants and phytonutrients that can protect against some cancers! It also contains fibre to enhance weight loss and digestion, choline that is essential for learning and memory, and many other important nutrients.

The beef is a great source of high-quality protein containing all of your essential amino acids that are vital for human health and building and developing muscle. Protein is also very important to repair any muscle or tissue damage during exercise.

Carrots provide a vibrant and delicious crunch to the meal and certainly pack a nutrition punch. Most of the nutrition benefits of carrots can be attributed to their beta-carotene and fibre content.
