It’s not hard to see why Pad Thai has become a typical Friday night takeaway – it’s ridiculously tasty and seriously satisfying. Our Pad Thai recipe uses simple ingredients that are bursting with flavour. Packed with Thai flavours like fresh lime juice, coriander, sesame oil and a beautiful tamarind sauce, it’s fresh and zingy but hearty and warming.

Chicken offers an array of vitamins, nutrients and high biological protein. It has all the essential amino acids needed to build and repair muscle tissue and is a great post fuel meal.

The red peppers included in this dish provide crunch and flavour, as well as being low in calories, and loaded with micronutrition. They are an excellent sources of vitamin A, potassium, folic acid, fibre and gram-for-gram, they contain even more vitamin C than oranges!

Peanut butter adds a nutty flavour to the Pad Thai sauce and contains heart health omega-6 fatty acids which can help to reduce cardiovascular disease. Peanuts have high levels of vitamin B3, which is a powerful nutrient that has been shown to help reduce cholesterol levels.
