This Protein Brownie Bite is an airy yet filling snack and is as delicious as it sounds while still being a healthy alternative to one of our favourite treats. With nibs of organic dark chocolate to hit that sweet note, this snack is filling and delivers on protein.

Of course, this snack is packed full of protein from the egg whites, cottage cheese and whey protein making it a great healthy snack after a workout or as an energy booster throughout the day.

Egg whites are one of the top sources of protein making this a great snack for building and developing muscle. Egg whites contain no fat and are a good source of folate, selenium and calcium.

Cottage Cheese is a good source of various minerals such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, phosphorous, zinc, and selenium which all play vital roles in many of the body functions. One of the biggest benefits of cottage cheese is the high amount of casein protein found in it because it is a slow-digesting and slow energy releasing protein.

Almond butter adds a creaminess to this delightful snack as well as being a good source of healthy monounsaturated fats that are good for maintaining a healthy heart. It also contains high amounts of Vitamin E an antioxidant that scavenges harmful free radicals in the body.
