Down in the kitchen we have chefs working round the clock to provide the best quality fresh meals to our amazing customers. However, these meals wouldn’t be created without our trustworthy suppliers who provide traceable, premium and reliable produce.

In today’s fast paced environment with many supply chains, it’s crucial to remember who our local suppliers are. At GourmetFuel, our beef and pork is Irish and locally sourced. As we are a smaller sized company, we do not have advantages such as other big food chains. From our suppliers, we are able to source fruit & vegetables in season such as our broccoli, strawberries & other delicious produce. We use bigger companies such as Sysco to smaller more independent business owners.

One of our most honourable mentions is MK Meats based in Drimnagh. They provide us with high quality meat such as our lamb. They pride themselves as being “Serious about traditional butchery – quality of produce”. They originated in 1990 which began in a former butcher shop (Gormleys) in Drimnagh.

By obtaining local Irish products, we build community and jobs within our country. We want to work together on our Island to strive to provide food from farm to fork and at GourmetFuel we’re making it that one bit easier by delivering to your door! This can be seen through our register with the Guaranteed Irish Mark that we’ve been awarded.

We believe in ethical practices and in a country such as Ireland with an abundance of green landscapes and fresh nutrient rich soil, we are taking advantage of what we naturally produce!

To keep on the theme of sustainability, we put a real emphasis on where our products come from and we don’t stop at our meals. For the majority of our orders, we have reusable bespoke cooler bags as sustainability means a lot to us and also to our customers. We also use an Irish supplier in the west of Ireland for our nationwide shipping delivery boxes.

To keep on topic, we want to welcome and introduce our brand new gel packs. These sit inside the cooler bags and keep our meals fresh when they are on route to you. They’re environmentally friendly and sourced from the Netherlands to ensure we had the highest quality in Europe. They contain non toxic ingredients and they are made of food certified recyclable packaging.
