September – a big sporting month!

September is a great sporting month for Irish folk, between the GAA Hurling and Football All Ireland Finals, World Cup qualifying matches, rugby season kicking off, Irish Soccer League games and not to mention prep for the Dublin Marathon.
In the words of Paudie Murray, Cork Camogie boss,
“Recovery is more important than training, rest, a correct diet and hydration are key!”.
It is vital that people training fuel the body through a healthy diet and water intake! Athletes need to get the most from their bodies.
Shane Finn certainly knows how to fuel his body in the correct way. He has just completed 24 marathons in 24 days for Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Ireland.
