Emma Buckley, BsC, RNutr

Director of Nutrition

Emma is the Director of Nutrition and co-founder of GourmetFuel. She has developed an entire range of health foods to compliment healthy living and performance. Emma Buckley B.Sc, is a Registered Nutritionist from Dublin, Ireland. A UCD graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry and Graduate Certificate and Higher Diploma in Diet and Nutrition. She is an international keynote conference speaker on nutrition and health and has worked closely with professional and Olympic athletes and coaches covering track, field and combat sports at the highest levels. Her knowledge of how food works in the body helps her design the healthiest meals and meal plans possible. Emma is a UKVRN Registered Nutritionist with the Association for Nutrition (http://www.associationfornutrition.org), specialising in Food.

Andy Dowling

Director of Food and Operations

Andy is the Director of Food and Operations at GourmetFuel. His career spans over two decades as a fully qualified Chef and Operations Manager. He is responsible for directing all food and operational functions and activities at Gourmet Fuel. Previously Head Chef in Avoca for four years, he also worked in St. Vincent's Private Hospital, adhering to the strict health and safety standards there. He has a wealth of experience in the creation, taste and quality of fresh, wholesome and healthy food while considering specific nutrition targets and dietary requirements. Andy is an integral part of Gourmet Fuel, not only for his expertise but also his shared passion to provide health conscious individuals with delicious and healthy food needed to achieve any goal.

The Story

We really love food but we’ve always liked to eat healthy too. Back before GourmetFuel started in 2014, we found the only way to get our hands on truly good food that tasted good too, was to cook it ourselves. That meant shopping, chopping and cooking meals from scratch. Admittedly we loved to cook, but that takes time and all too often life got in the way and we found ourselves making poor choices at lunchtime or after a long day’s work. So we thought, there must be a way that everyone can enjoy delicious healthy food every day, without having to spend hours in the supermarket and the kitchen….and just like that GourmetFuel was born!
