Our Spicy Huevos Rancheros are a healthy twist on a Mexican classic with a great morning energy booster coming from the wholewheat tortilla. This easy to eat little wrap, is a delightful and filling start to the day.


The eggs are cooked with different vegetables like tomatoes, red peppers onion and spinach for added flavour nutrients. The spiciness comes from the green chilli peppers topped with cheddar cheese all combined in a wholewheat tortilla wrap.

Eggs are high in protein containing many essential amino acids that can only be found through the diet. This is important for building and developing muscle. They are also rich in many essential vitamins and minerals like selenium, Vitamin D, iron and zinc.

Spinach is well known as a super green and rightly so. It is packed full of vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients including potassium, magnesium, iron as well as folate, Vitamin A and C all vital for a good functioning body.

Ingredients
Whole Eggs (Pasteurised) (50%), Wholemeal Tortilla (Wheat) (23%), Tomatoes (9%), Spinach (7%), Red Cheddar (4%), Red Pepper (3%), Onions (3%), Olive Oil (1%), Cumin, Chilli Powder

Storing Instructions

Keep refrigerated under 5 degrees Celsius at all times and consume by the date shown. Suitable for freezing before use by date shown. Consume within 3 months from date of freezing.

Cooking Instructions

Microwave
To heat, remove from packaging tray, open the wrapper and leave loosely covered within the paper. Place onto a plate and microwave (900w) for 2-3 minutes or until piping hot. Use extreme caution when hot.
Oven
Preheat oven at 150 degrees celsius (Fan Assisted) or Gas Mark 3. Do not pierce film. Place in centre of oven for 15 - 20 mins or until piping hot. Use extreme caution when hot.
