This is a breakfast Bacon and Egg wrap with a gourmet twist - because let's face it, sometimes you just want a bacon and egg sambo! The scrambled egg is infused with truffle oil giving a unique flavour, and when combined with bacon this meal is as tasty as it gets! This delicious wrap packs almost 30g protein per portion! And because it's us, we added tasty tomatoes and chives, all wrapped in a wholemeal tortilla. Eggs are a natural nutrition powerhouse and a source of vitamin D, vitamin B12, phosphorus and riboflavin. In addition, eggs are rich in the essential amino acid leucine (one large egg provides 600 milligrams), which plays a unique role in stimulating muscle protein synthesis, and helping to maintain existing muscle mass - perfect for those with busy lives or those who exercise a lot!
Eggs are a perfect protein due to their amino acid profile, and are also rich in choline which is a vitamin-like essential nutrient involved in many physiological processes, including normal metabolism, transport of lipids and neurotransmitter synthesis. Egg yolks also contain beta carotene which is a pre-cursor to Vitamin A - great for healthy skin, hair and nails.
