There are many foods and ingredients, such as nuts, nut butters, olive oil, coconut oil, or maple syrup fall under the 'healthy' category. However, their calorie, fat or glucose content makes portion control crucial.

People tend not to be conscious of portion size when a food product is classified as a 'healthy food'. However, these foods are great in moderation but they tend to be quite calorie-dense.

So be mindful of who is advising you on nutrition and healthy recipes online. As many times it isn't health professionals qualified in the area. Opting for a balanced and varied diet together with an active physical activity.
