This delicious cottage pie consists of a blend of 100% Irish beef and vegetables like carrots, celery and peas for added texture and micronutrients, all topped with a delicious, cheesy potato mash... the perfect meal to put on the table after a long day.

The potato mash is smooth and creamy and there is a reason why potatoes are a staple in many people's diets. They contain a wealth of health benefits ranging from their ability to improve digestion, reduce cholesterol levels and boost heart health. Potatoes are rich in potassium which ensures a good supply of water and ions to the body along with calcium, iron and Vitamin C.

The beef is a great source of high-quality protein containing all of your essential amino acids that are vital for human health and building and developing muscle. Protein is also very important to repair any muscle or tissue damage during exercise.

Carrots provide a vibrant and delicious crunch to the meal and certainly pack a nutrition punch. Most of the nutrition benefits of carrots can be attributed to their beta-carotene and fibre content.

Packed full of essential vitamins and minerals as well as being high in carbohydrates and protein. Our Cottage Pie is the perfect nourishing dish to end the day! For an extra dose of nutrition, add some extra steamed garden peas to this dish.
