This Indian Rice is low in fat and high in carbohydrates making it the perfect accompaniment to our Family Range meals. The combination of different ingredients from the rice to the raisins and spices will make sure you get an instant hit of energy as well as keeping you and the little guys satisfied and full.

The white rice is cooked with onions and flavoured with delicious aromatic spices like coriander, cumin and turmeric making it a flavourful and healthy option that can be enjoyed as a staple in the whole family's diet.

Turmeric is what gives this Indian Rice its vibrant yellow colour and it also packs a nutrition punch! Turmeric contains a bioactive compound called curcumin that has powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. This is important for repairing damaged cells and scavenging harmful free radicals in the body.

Our Indian Rice is a delicious and aromatic side dish that can be perfectly paired with our Creamy Chicken Korma or any of our Family Range curries. For an extra dose of deliciousness, add some flaked almonds and mango chutney.

Storing Instructions

Keep refrigerated under 5 degrees Celsius at all times and consume by the date shown. Suitable for freezing before use by date shown. Consume within 3 months from date of freezing.

Cooking Instructions

Microwave
Remove sleeve. Gently pierce film once. Microwave (900 watts) for 5-10 mins or until piping hot. Use caution when hot.
Oven
Remove sleeve and dip pot. Preheat oven at 150 degrees celsius (Fan Assisted) or Gas Mark 3. Place tray on baking tray in centre of oven for 15-20 mins or until piping hot. Use extreme caution when hot.
