    It’s good!

Posted by Barb M on 4th Feb 2021

I’m decided to rate this one on flavour alone. It’s a fantastic breakfast, very filling, you finish the omelette and you walk away with your hunger filled. But. It’s kind of bland for my taste and from what I’ve come to expect from Gourmet Fuel. I didn’t really get a taste of sun dried tomatoes or rosemary. I will buy this dish again, because it was very satisfying on the filling me up. But I’ll be sure to have some salsa on the side or something for a burst of flavour.

This delicious Egg White Omelette with Goats Cheese gives a low carb, high protein kickstart to your day and is a perfect post workout meal to help muscle repair.

The delicious fresh ingredients used are spinach, semi-soft goats cheese, sun-dried tomatoes and a hint of rosemary for a warm piney aroma.

Spinach is a superfood that is loaded with vitamins A, D, E & K and also contains essential minerals; folate, iron and magnesium and phytonutrients that help fight against disease. Goats cheese is lower in fat and calories than cheese made from cow's milk and provides a good source of protein, riboflavin and phosphorus. Sundried tomatoes provide powerful antioxidants in their vitamin A family which prevents cell damage caused by free radicals.

This high protein, low carb and tasty breakfast is made up of good quality protein with high biological value. The added egg whites used in the omelette gives a great boost of extra protein.
