It's no secret that we have a thing for Mexican food here at GourmetFuel HQ. Our beef and chicken burrito bowls are some of our best-sellers, so now we've put a 'Vegan twist' on our original Burrito Bowls which we know you'll love as much as we do!

A colourful mix of beans combined with our grated carrot slaw all on a bed of coriander and lime basmati rice and topped with a zingy sweetcorn salsa, this dish is just bursting with spices and flavour! We've even sprinkled an extra serving of black beans on top to make it a bean-tastic experience!

Beans certainly pack a punch when it comes to their nutritional value. They help to lower levels of LDL or bad cholesterol which helps to maintain a healthy heart. They are low in fat and rich in fibre, plant-based protein as well as many essential vitamins and minerals.

The carrot slaw and sweetcorn salsa provide a vibrant and sweet taste to this burrito bowl as well as being low in calories, and loaded with good nutrition. Carrots are an excellent source of vitamin A , chloride, folic acid and fibre.
