Wholemeal pasta is a great alternative to regular white pasta, as it has a higher fibre content which helps to maintain gut health as well as keeping you fuller for longer. It also helps to maintain steady blood sugar levels throughout the day. Wholemeal pasta is high in B vitamins and minerals, such as copper, selenium, magnesium and manganese.
Lean beef is a highly nutritious food, and an excellent component of a healthy diet, since it contains all of the vitamins and minerals of high-fat beef but with much less saturated fat. The iron contained in lean beef is easily absorbed by our bodies, and is an important nutrient for the development and functioning of red blood cells. It also helps to maintain energy levels.
