Succulent chicken, diced carrots, peas and basmati rice tossed in sesame oil, soy sauce and an array of fresh spices for layers of flavour. Forget takeout with this homemade Chicken Fried Rice, you can enjoy fried rice at home without feeling bloated and sluggish the next day.

Chicken is a great source of lean, low-fat high quality protein and contains all the amino acids essential for amino acids. This helps with muscle growth and development, maintaining a healthy body weight and aiding in weight loss. Chicken is an excellent source of selenium, a trace mineral shown to fight cancer.

Carrots provide a vibrant and delicious crunch to the meal and certainly pack a nutrition punch. Most of the nutrition benefits of carrots can be attributed to their beta-carotene and fibre content, while the peas contribute high amounts of plant based protein and fibre.
